Henry's Discount
Great news! Club secretary Tracy has managed to figure out our discount at Henry's, just in time for the holiday season. Here's what she had to say about it:
I have confirmed with the manager of Henry's, photo clubs get a discount same as the student discount by either showing our club card, or they are willing to give us student cards if we need them. I forgot what he said the discount was, 10 or 15% I think.

Please just contact us with your tribute.

Snapshots: A Photo Essay (Vernissage and Exhibit)
We all remember our elementary school days when writing an essay was one of the first assignments we got upon returning to school. You know, "What I Did on My Summer Vacation." It was an assignment most of us probably looked forward to preparing and presenting. A chance to share adventures and reminisce about the carefree days of summer.
The members of the North Grenville Photo Club have done their homework and captured the sights, colours and images that spell S-U-M-M-E-R (and maybe other seasons too!). As the kids head back to school the first week of September, the North Grenville Photo Club (NGPC) will be revealing its third exhibit at the branch restaurant in Kemptville. Join the NGPC members for the “show and tell” vernissage on Wednesday September 7, 2011 from 5 – 7 p.m. Snapshots: a photo essay, on display at the branch restaurant from September 7 until the end of September. Guaranteed to bring back fond memories of your great summer of 2011.
September Exhibit at the branch
The next Branch Exhibit is confirmed, with the vernissage to be held the day of the Sept. 7th meeting.
A maximum of 2 photos are due to be submitted (using the recipe format found on the website) by July 24th. Notice of acceptance or rejection will be given by July 27th.
All skill levels are encouraged to participate.
After acceptance the photo can be produced in your personal choice of size and style etc. Not too big please. If you wish to offer it for sale let us know your desired price which will be put on the label along with your name and the name of the photo. Yes, please name your submissions. The photos will be taken to the branch on a date which will likely be at the beginning of September. We will let you know.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

Outing: Brockville's Every Angle Photographers' Association
The following information is posted on behalf of the Brockville's Every Angle Photographers' Association, who are holding an outing this Saturday January 22.
I hope some of the members of your camera club are considering meeting EAPA next Saturday for our outing in Prescott. Our plan is to meet around 10:00 a.m. outside O’Heaph’s Irish Pub at the corner of King and Edward St. We will shoot for a few hours then meet back around 1:00 at O’Heaph’s for lunch.
Larry Bolton our vice president will be making arrangements for lunch. If there are members from your club who are interested in this outing, please have them email me before Friday. I will give Larry the numbers on which the lunch reservation will be made. I am not sure if I will be able to attend the outing myself but know EAPA members will make your club welcome. It is always fun to meet other photographers!
